I felt so welcomed by the warm hospitality, especially with a refreshing lemongrass juice waiting for me upon arrival. The Beautiful Double Room was impeccably clean and decorated in a good boutique style, complete with a spacious bathroom. Each morning, I indulged in a different Thai breakfast that celebrated local flavors.

We felt very welcomed . nice and clean r oom, with really nice atmosphere .we will come again to this place, it's like coming home in a big city. it's easy to travel by express boat or sky train . both station are just a few minutes by tuktuk.

The room was good-sized and nicely furnished and featured a TV with DVD player and a kettle. Its location was good and decent, inside authentical thai neighborhood. Everything was great and the staff were exceptionally attentive.

Breakfast was a whirlwind of flavor, with options, made my taste buds dance! The vibe here is cozy, and the room was super clean and sparkling clean. Plus, that complimentary tuk-tuk ride to nearby spots was a total lifesaver for a busy explorer like me.

The buzzing bikes on the road nearby were a tad noisy, but honestly, it just added to the charm of buzzing Bangkok. Once I hit the hay, it was peace and quiet.

Karan (owner) very helpful and nice- definitely gave some very good tips that made our stay easier. Location was a bit further away from mrt, but free tuktuk was provided - Therefore location was not a problem, could reach everything very easily. Delicious and filling breakfast. The room had a very nice design and was very comfortable (stayed in one of the bigger rooms). A computer was available in the common area - very comfortable on vacation. Definitely a good choice in Bangkok!!!

I don't visit Thonburi district often, so it's good to stay at Focal Local and see this part of Bangkok. The area preserves the good old days of Bangkok. it flashed back lots of my old memories. The hotel is located in the middle of housing area where real local people are living. I like the idea of themed rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. I had a great time there.

mosquitoes issue

The staff made our anniversary special with lovely flowers and breakfast tailored for us. The room was super clean, and the Tuk Tuk rides made it easy to explore. Just a few mosquitoes in the dining area, but overall a gem!

Lovely family run hotel, it offers wonderful breakfast and great-sized and nicely furnished rooms. The staff are amazingly attentive, everyone. Particularly good and decent location for visiting cafes and restaurants close to the venue. You can relax at Feed the Beast, located nearby.

The complimentary tuk-tuk ride to the ferry terminal was a good and convenient surprise, making our excursions around the city much simpler.

The bed was firmer than what we typically prefer, so if you enjoy a softer mattress, be prepared for a bit of a challenge.
